End Wave. pg 2: Gray & Orange
2017. The greater New York Metropolitan region. Maple melding to mortar on an early October afternoon in a quietly cobbled Brooklyn neighborhood. Apple crisp Fall air. The Sun burning a silent melanoma bite. Burning spots. Burning safety. Just burning. The cumulus hovering a hero’s cape over the gray and orange landscape. They scurried. They shuffled. They sat. They stood. They slumbered. Slumbered their slumber of their fall.
